Equi-Coach is learning from home on the phone! Equi-Coach is an available, convenient virtual classroom. The classes are a great way to learn because you can immediately apply what you learn in your own barn with your own students. Attend class and learn with instructors from all over the world!.

Licensed teachers, with graduate degrees in teaching and certified by the International Coaching Federation, teach all classes. Equi-Coach teachers each have over 20 years experience teaching and developing instructors, educators, and leaders for corporations, businesses, and the national education system.

The Equi-Coach program has been developed during 15 years of working with riders, instructors, interns and instructors. Equi-Coach marries continuous professional development learning and the vision for equestrian professionalism and excellence!

All topics focus on improving your teaching effectiveness. Equi-Coach learning goes behind the horsemanship techniques to help you learn new teaching and business skills. There are two program tracks for instructors: Teaching and Equestrian Business. Within each track are three “Foundations”. Within each Foundation, there are four courses. To complete a course, you will attend a 1-hour class each week for 4 weeks (a total of 16 hours of instruction to complete a foundation). To complete all three Foundations in one track will take about 12 months and includes class materials for 48 hours of instruction plus 2 – 8 hours to complete the exam.

Each program level includes an exam of 2 parts: Part One consists of a practical application of what you learned in the form of an action plan showing how you plan to use what you have learned. Part Two consists of a videotape assessment of you using your action plan.

Selected topics classes (stand-alone 1.5-hour classes) are also available. These are offered June/December and July/January only.

Once you are enrolled and payment has been confirmed, you will receive your class materials in about 2 weeks. Prepare for your first class. A few minutes before class begins call the bridge number given for your class and attend class!
